Science Assembly

February 2, 2017

10:25 A.M. to 12:05 P.M.

The students will be going into A.J. Winters to participate in a Science assembly. They will be getting back to the school a little late for lunch. Hot lunch is bringing out sack lunches to help with the time adjustment. Students can eat sack lunches from the hot lunch program or bring their own cold lunch.  

 

Valentine's Day Dance

February 14, 2017

9:00 A.M.

You are invited to come to our Valentine's Day Dance. Students will be performing dances that Mr. Dixon has taught the students during P.E. They need to wear nice clothes.

  • 1 pair quality headphones that cover the ears and come over the top of the head. No ear buds. Please put them in a gallon zip lock bag with the child’s name on the outside of the bag.
  • 1 Black Vis-Vis Wet Erase Marker
  • 1 inch clear plastic front 3- ring binder

Emergency Kit- required for all students

 

All students will need an emergency kit consisting of:  a gallon-sized zip lock freezer bag clearly marked with your child’s name with the following contents:


1.  Letter of comfort from parent or guardian to help your student in this difficult time                                      

2.  Emergency phone numbers, at least 4 or 5 contacts
3. 16 oz. foil packet(s) of juice with straw or bottled water                                                                                 

4. 1 Mylar emergency thermal blanket                                                                                                                                             
5.  Non-perishable snacks (i.e. sealed granola bar, sealed jerky, sealed crackers and cheese, etc.)                  

6.  Stuffed animal or favorite item (small)
7.  List of allergies or special needs (If your child requires nighttime medication, please notify the office.) 

 

The kit will be returned to parents at the end of the year for replenishment for the following school year. Please save all non-perishable items in the bag for reuse each year.
